A vital part of Seattle’s art community for 40 years, Juan relocated to Florida in 2022, and has been greatly missed. In honor of his upcoming visit, we’re featuring a special selection of his work in our North Gallery and inviting you to help us welcome him “home” at this open-house drop-in event.
Alonso-Rodríguez is a Cuban-born, self-taught artist, known for his vibrant explorations of abstraction inspired by landscapes, botanical forms, architecture, and his Caribbean roots. His work is held in major museum and corporate collections and can be seen in public art installations across the region.
